I personally don’t like horror films, but I think the idea itself is something that many people would find watchable- though I think it has to be made apparent that this person has wronged him in some way, it’s not just another film about mindless killing. I think the idea of revenge helps the film change existing media conventions as it adds a bit of depth and reason to the death onscreen. I think the target audience fits perfectly, as older teenagers enjoy horror films, and the audience is usually mostly male. It would probably do well as we all know this genre is already popular with a large majority of people.
Just so you know, it isn't a film about mindless killing - rather, it's a film where the audience themselves would question the validity of the main character's logic, and whether or not these people had wronged in him some way or if he was just acting out some deluded fantasy as his mental state breaks down.
I think your target audience is realistic and that the idea will generally work quite well. I like the story idea is good its seems pretty exciting which fits with the genre and I really like the 'one person at a time' cliff hanger bit as it will really draw the audience in. Also to my knowledge nothing like this has really be done before.
